Mrs K Mealing - Personal Assistant to the Headteacher

Hello, I am Mrs Mealing and I am Mrs Chandler’s Personal Assistant. I manage her diary and her admin, deal with recruitment, write the newsletter and organise Hot Chocolate Fridays, along with a whole host of other things! You can find me in the office next to hers.

I have worked in an educational setting since 2006 and live locally. In my spare time I love to keep fit and spend time with my family and friends.

Mrs X Eckles - Admissions and Data Officer

Hello! I’m Mrs Eckles, the Admissions and Data Officer.

I am the point of contact for all Admissions into Dedworth Middle School.

I also manage the schools data systems and spend lots of time creating and updating spreadsheets to ensure that we are able to provide the most accurate school data.

Mrs K Lumley - Attendance Officer

Hello! I am Mrs Lumley, the Attendance Officer.

 Although I am the Attendance Officer; I am point of contact for all medical, pupil premium and school trip queries. You will find me in the office most mornings surrounded by forms, reports and pupils. If I am not in the office, you will see me rushing around the school.

 In my spare time I bake with my children, mainly so I can spend my evenings eating cake! I also love doing anything that allows me to be creative.

Mr D Freezer - Network Manager

Hello! I am the Network Manager for the Dedworth School Campus.
My role includes supporting staff and children all things IT related, managing computer and network systems. Using my 11 years of IT industry experience, I hope to  bring improvements to the schools IT making it as secure and efficient as possible.
I enjoy spending time with family, running, playing / watching football and restoring a classic car. I love helping people, so please reach out if you need help!

Mr J Simkin - Cover Supervisor

Hello! My name is Mr Simkin and I joined DMS in November of 2021. I started out as an LSA working with SEN pupils and have now progressed to be Cover Manager! Shaping and moulding young minds is something I take extreme pride in doing. When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and my dog, reading fantasy fiction and watching the gunners play.

Mrs A Wade - Science and Design Technology Technician

Hello I'm Mrs Wade Science and Design Technology Technician. I'm usually found in the Design and Technology block preparing lessons or supporting students in those lessons. I also mentor students taking part in the Go4Set Science project. When I'm not at school I enjoy baking, cooking and sewing.

Mrs F Bovington - Finance Manager

Fran Bovington - Finance Manager for Dedworth First and Middle Schools.  

I've worked at the First school for 7 years and a year ago I also took on the Finances for the Middle School. 

I am responsible for all financial matters including budgets,  payroll, supplier payments, school income, management accounts. You will see me most days hurrying across the car park between schools carrying lots of files! Hobbies include reading (hundreds of books) and cycling (not hundreds of miles!).
