Mr M Lewis - Year 8 Tutor & PE Teacher

I am a PE teacher, teaching across all year groups, I am also a year 8 tutor. During lunchtime you will find me either on the field or in the sports-hall running clubs. I enjoy all sports but particularly like teaching football and athletics. I support Leicester City FC and my best memory is when Leicester won the Premiership in 2015/16. Outside of school I am either watching my local rugby team or transporting my daughters to their swimming and gymnastics lessons. I look forward to meeting you all and hope to see many of you at a club

Mrs C Masters - Year 8 Form Tutor (shared)/ Art teacher / Science teacher

Hello DMS! I'm Mrs Masters and I can usually be found in the Tech block on Thursdays and Fridays. I teach art to Y6 and Y7 which I really enjoy. I also teach Science to Y7 which is great fun too. Outside of school I really enjoy swimming outdoors (when it's warm enough!) and travelling with my sons.

Mrs N Novelli - Year 8 Form Tutor/ Head of Humanities 

I started working at Dedworth Middle School in June 2016 and I’m currently Head of Humanities across KS2&3 and co-tutor of 8NN with Mrs Masters. My favourite period of history is the Tudors.  I love teaching the stories of Henry VIII and his wives, his children and the people who surround them. It's like a modern-day soap opera, these stories have it all: scandal, betrayal and murder! I look forward to sharing this and many more stories with you! In my spare time, I love to read and I’m a member of Runnymede Royals Pickleball Club who I represent in the South East England Pickleball league.

Miss M Swift- Year 8 Form Tutor/ Head of PE

I will be teaching PE to Key Stage 2 and 3 this year and PSHE to the Year 8’s; I am also a Year 8 tutor. During lunchtimes and afterschool you are most likely to find me in the gym or netball courts running extra-curricular activities. I enjoy participating in sports myself; outside of school I am the captain of a hockey team, I play for different netball teams and I horse ride. I look forward to starting a new year at DMS and seeing you all back in school.

“Hello there, I’m Mr Thomas. I joined Dedworth Middle in September 2021 and I teach Music to Years 7 and 8. I also teach Music at The Windsor Boys School during the week. I love making music not just with the amazingly talented students here in the classroom but also outside of it in a variety of different music clubs. In my spare time I love to play the piano, watch some great films, and I also play hockey at weekends!”

Mrs J Blake - Learning Support Assistant

Hi, I’m Mrs Blake I am a KS3 Teaching Assistant. I love to help children with their work In various subjects. I am always available to talk to whether it’s just something fun you did at the weekend or if it’s something you are nervous or worried about.  I am also a military wife (originally from Manchester) and understand the complicated lifestyle that comes with having a military family member.  I have a daughter and a son, I also have a very cheeky Chihuahua. In my own time I love to spend time with my children and husband and visit my family in Manchester a few times a year. I look forward to seeing and meeting you all soon :)
