Mrs K Heffer - SEN Teacher

Hi, I'm Mrs Heffer and I am very excited to be part of the team at The Rainbow Centre as an SEN teacher. I have 15 years of teaching experience in a variety of schools, and previously had the privilege of meeting some of the children and staff at Dedworth Green First School through my involvement with the charity "ABC to Read".

I enjoy long walks and trips to the seaside with my husband, two children and very excitable dog. I am also currently enjoying the challenge of learning Spanish so hope to be visiting a Spanish speaking country soon to put it to the test! I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with the children in The Rainbow Centre and being a part of the friendly community at the Dedworth campus.

Mrs C Burden - SEN Teacher

Hello, I’m Mrs. Burden and I’m one of the SEND teachers in the Rainbow Centre where we support pupils across the two Dedworth schools with interventions.  I’ve taught in a wide range of settings in the past 20 years from first schools, secondary schools, to a SEND school.  I’m loving my new role in the Rainbow Centre.  Outside of the classroom I enjoy looking after our three children, walking our dog, aqua aerobics, gardening and baking.

I am a teaching assistant working in Key Stage 2 and the Rainbow Centre.

I enjoy working with a variety of children with specific needs.

Hi, I'm Miss Williams known to the children as Miss Wills. I am an LSA in the Rainbow Centre so I enjoy working with the children across both schools. Outside of school I love spending time with my own three children and our crazy dog.
