FAQs

Who can be part of the PTA?

Everyone with a connection to the school is automatically part of the PTA — parents, carers, staff and friends. There’s no sign-up required.

Do I have to attend meetings or events?

No. Many families support the PTA simply by taking part in fundraising initiatives or attending occasional activities. Every level of involvement is valued.

What happens to the money raised?

All funds raised by the PTA are reinvested into the school to benefit pupils and families. This includes resources, equipment, enrichment activities and community projects.

How are fundraising priorities decided?

Priorities are agreed by the PTA committee in partnership with the school, focusing on projects that have the greatest impact on pupils.

How can I support the PTA if I don’t have much time?

There are lots of low-commitment ways to get involved, including:

  • Using EasyFundraising when shopping online
  • Ordering STIKINS name labels
  • Voting in initiatives like Tesco Stronger Starts
  • Attending informal PTA coffee mornings to meet other parents and carers
  • Sharing PTA information with friends and family

How can I get more involved?

You can help at events, support initiatives, attend coffee mornings, or join the PTA committee. Vacancies are advertised on the website and through school communications.
