Mrs N Chandler

Executive Headteacher

Hello! I am Mrs Nicola Chandler, the Executive Headteacher of the Dedworth campus and substantive Headteacher of Dedworth Middle School. I feel very honoured to be managing the Dedworth Campus, having been a pupil in both schools myself in the 1980’s, and I am therefore determined to secure an outstanding future for the schools and have every intention of ensuring we offer a top class education for all the pupils we serve.

I absolutely love my job and am passionate about education but outside of school I love spending time with my family. I have 2 children (18,15) which keep us busy and our favourite place in the world is Disney! I love to keep myself fit and pound the pavements very early in the morning and I also enjoy doing fitness classes, shopping and never say no to a Costa Coffee! I really am delighted to be here and look forward to working closely with you all in the many years to come.

Mrs C O’Donnell

Deputy Headteacher

I would like to introduce myself as Clare O’Donnell the Deputy Headteacher at Dedworth Middle School.  I know that I am already familiar face as I was Assistant Headteacher for a few years and I have already had the pleasure of teaching many of your children and getting to know your families. I am really excited about the journey that we are embarking on as a school. As many of you will know, I am a very competitive and passionate person and enjoy working to ensure that Dedworth is recognised as the best Middle School in Windsor.  There are lots of responsibilities that come with the Deputy role, but one of my main priorities this year will working alongside other leaders to refine and enhance our School Curriculum and strengthen our Assessment systems. I am still able to enjoy some teaching this year as part of the Geography and PE departments in year 7 and 8; this is the favourite part of my job! I also hope to join the pupils at various sporting fixtures, school trips and residentials throughout the year. We have desperately missed this part of school life and we are very excited to be able to partake in these extra-curricular activities again. I think its really important as a senior leader to always be approachable and supportive for pupils and parents alike, please don’t hesitate to contact me through the school office or at the school gate if needed.

Mr D Moult

Assistant Headteacher

Hello, I'm Mr Moult, one of the Assistant Headteachers at Dedworth Middle School!

I focus on the quality of education across the school. This means I look after all of the children and teachers to make sure that the teaching and learning is the best it possibly can be! I also work closely with newly-qualified and trainee teachers as well as working with Mrs O'Donnell on our curriculum. You can find me in my office upstairs in the new block, or in room 4 teaching English to years 7 and 8.

In my spare time I love to engage with lots of hobbies: reading as many books as I can, going to the gym, video gaming, collecting trainers, singing and playing piano. I'd love to know if we have some common interests!

Mr B Day

Assistant Headteacher/ SENCo

Starting as an English teacher in 2011 in North London, I have been a school senior lead since 2018. My areas of focus have always been pastoral, safeguarding and inclusion. I come to the role with a keen awareness that school is much for challenging for some than others, but also an ambitious for what all pupils can achieve with the right support in place. I am passionate about developing the whole child as well as focusing on academic attainment, ensuring they have the personal development in place to thrive in our ever changing world. Finally, I am passionate about working in collaboration with parents and carers to get the very best for their child (recognising that school does not have happy memories for all!)

Miss R Walton

Assistant Headteacher

I am thrilled to introduce myself as the new Assistant Headteacher and to become a part of this vibrant and welcoming school community. It is a true privilege to work alongside such dedicated staff, supportive families, and enthusiastic children. From my very first day, it’s been clear that this is a school where kindness, curiosity, and
high expectations are at the heart of everything we do. To the children – I am so excited to get to know each of you. I look forward to seeing you thrive in your learning, grow in confidence, and enjoy all the wonderful opportunities this school has to offer. My door is always open, whether you want to share something you’re proud of or need someone to listen. To parents and carers – I look forward to building strong relationships with you as we work together to ensure the very best for your children. I believe in open, honest communication and in creating a school environment where every child feels safe, valued, and inspired to achieve their full potential. This year promises to be full of exciting learning, new challenges, and memorable moments – and I am truly excited to be part of it. Thank you for the warm welcome so far; I can’t wait to get started and to support our school community in every way I can.
