The assessment will include the following elements:

• Vocabulary
  Pupils will be tested on key tropical rainforest terminology.

• Short‑answer questions
  These will include questions such as animal adaptations in tropical rainforests.

• Extended task: climate graphs
  Pupils will be required to create and analyse a climate graph for a tropical rainforest.

• How far do you agree?
  This question will focus on deforestation. The exact wording of the question will be shared with pupils in advance and fully prepared for in lesson.
