Our Year 7 and 8 netball teams enjoyed a fantastic tournament, showcasing excellent teamwork, determination and sportsmanship throughout the competition.

A huge congratulations goes to the Year 7 A team who played brilliantly to finish in first place and were crowned tournament winners!

The Year 8 A team also had an outstanding performance, securing an impressive second place. All players should be incredibly proud of their achievements and the effort, commitment and team spirit they demonstrated throughout the tournament. Well done to everyone involved for representing the school so brilliantly!

Well done to our Hot Chocolate Friday winners for this fortnight!

Pupils are nominated by staff for going over and above and demonstrating our ACHIEVE values (Ambitious, Caring, Happy, Inspirational, Encouraging, Valiant, Engaged).

Lena (5LA) – she always comes through the door each morning with the biggest smile and takes the time to ask both staff and her peers how they are. Her warmth, kindness and infectious positivity brighten the day of those around her. Lena is a wonderful role model who consistently demonstrates care and consideration for others, helping to create a happy and welcoming school environment.

Riley (7DH) and Louie (6SA) – they observed an elderly man have a fall one morning last week before school. They safely crossed the road to assist, ran to get tissues and took him to a nearby café where an adult could help him. We thought this demonstrated great care, compassion and maturity.

Sienna (6BL) - she has shown exceptional kindness, commitment and maturity supporting another pupil as he adapts to life at Dedworth and uses English regularly for the first time.

Poppy (8MB), Iraj (8KPE), Elsie (8MB), Eva (8CF), Noah (8KB), Noah (8KPE), Luca (8MB) and Jacob (8KB) – The Junior Leadership team for being amazing at the Prospective Parents’ Open Evening and Open Mornings. Poppy and Noah delivered brilliant speeches, they all gave warm welcomes and conducted fantastic tours. They all proved to be wonderful ambassadors for our school.

They enjoyed a hot chocolate and a chat with Mrs O’Donnell.

Last week the Give Back Group did a session litter picking around the streets of Dedworth, helping to keep our local community clean and tidy. They demonstrated pride and the importance of giving back through acts of service.

This week The Give Back Group helped our local church, All Saints, to clean and tidy up their play area. They impressed everyone with their hard work and commitment.
